This
garage was designed to be economical and simple in its details. It is a basic
two-car garage with a stone base and extended white trim. The elegance comes
from the extended gable end with brackets on the front face. Notice the wave
pattern in the shingles on this little gable; it adds a touch of whimsy and
playfulness. The garage doors were designed to look like old barn doors but
they open like a traditional garage door and roll up in sections. This garage
is oversized for storage of lawn equipment, bikes, kayaks and tools. There
is space on the second floor for a studio/guest bedroom/home office.
